There is a message in USIC's and Pat's posts about their accidents running into the back of another driver. We drive cars that can easily be totalled because of the cost of repairs and age of the cars. The best defensive driver will never hit the back end of another car because he or she leaves more than enough space to stop before colliding no matter how the car in front stops. God forbid that I regret this message tomorrow for doing the same thing, but we have to carve more space around our cars if we are going to preserve them from the rest of the world out there driving more common machines.
