I am fitting 17"x8" BBS cross spokes, available from BMW dealers as extras for 5 series (E39) or 8 series (E31). Have fitted 235x45/17" Pirelli Zer 0's. They look fabulous and authentic, but aren't cheap. These wheels feature in BMW's current accessory catalogue, at least here in the UK. I have BMW part numbers if you need them. Still trying to confirm 5 series offset at 20mm. Have two 8 series rims on the front of the car at the moment.
