Need to know what to do about a problem with the transmission when shifting from second to third. At time it engages smoothly but most of the time I need to double clutch or press hard on the shifter to engage. The transmission seems ok but I think the problem is related to the sinchronizer linkages. I need help in finding out if it could be fixed or do I need to buy another tranmission. I've been driving the car like this for one year without any problems but I'd like to get the issue resolved.
Any thoughts? Also' if I need a re-built transmission where is the best place to get one from? Thanks.
