Are you guys excited about the new 6-series coming out in 2003/2004? I've heard about it a while back, it all started with the Z9 concept I guess. Now i just saw the pictures in the EC magazine. Honestly if BMW goes ahead and builds one on the future 5-series platform I'll be the first in line. Actually I'm thinking about putting a small deposit on one and starting to invest heavily so I can pay probably $50K+ that the top model is gonna cost. So what do you think?


I've been on the same track (investing in mutual funds to purchase the car in Germany and take a tour through Europe to break it in). I don't plan on buying a first year BMW car anytime soon however. I'd wait until year 2 or 3 before they get some of the bugs worked out and make it trustworthy and high performance, ie adding the V8 or making and M version.
