Thank you so much for your help.
I'm probably going to go for that 3.5l swap.
How long did it take? I have acess pretty much to all the tools I want because I still work part-time (my day job is a 9-5 sit-in-front-of-comp-job) at a bmw/merecedes garage. That includes hoist etc.

I'll tackle that next summer. Winter is coming soon and up here in canada frost will creep up on you pretty darn fast. So my 6 will take a well deserved rest any tips for putting her away?
