After reading the 6 series enth.companion,I was wondering if the US version of the M6(s38),have the same things that an owner of a grey mkt car should be wary of(oil starvation problems, the need to upgrade rotors from a 7 series, replacing the springs in the heads, defective camshaft profile by design, etc, etc) Any and all advice would be helpful before I invest.I love the looks and have read nothing but good things about the performance, but I dont want to buy something thats going to become a headache. Thanks

The answer is yes, but if you are interested in buying an M6 why not find one that already has had the work done to it. The M6 is a wonderful driving machine and as with any "exotic sportscar" you have to expect repair and maintenance which is usually not routine. These are not Saturns !!!!
