I recently found my passenger caliper leaking between the halves, so I bought a rebuild kit only to find it did not include the O rings which were leaking. I spoke with the parts dept. at the dealer who said it was a common problem and the O rings were not available. Same story from other suppliers too, and was told I'd need to purchase an entire caliper.
I contacted several suppliers of O rings who can order the EPD (brake fluid resistant) seals but there is a $100 minimum order per part. I'm going to look into this further but I was wondering if this has happened to anybody else, and how it was solved?
