By the way, it pisses the Germans off to think that we actually tinker with "their cars", instead of taking them in and getting reamed at the dealerships. I know this is true. I even get "that atttitude" at local dealers here in Calif.

Joe was trying to supply us with a quality replacement pod. BMWNA saw this as a threat to their monopoly and thrashed him legally as well as financially. He has been ordered by these bastards to stop all BMW related sales. Check the archives for his post about this.


If I were BMWNA I would try to put Joe Caldo in JAIL. Anyone who threatens to usurp one penny of money that would otherwise go to BMWNA MUST BE ground into dirt lest other enterprising individuals join in the fun.

Profits MUST be protected at any cost. It's just good business, you understand. Nothing personal. If you were BMWNA you would do it the same way or you would be replaced by the Corporation.
