First 635 Csi purchase (archive)

I've been thinking of changing my car and saw a '89 635 Csi Highline which I'm really tempted to buy (not surprisingly).

Never owned a BMW, never mind a car that's 11 years old. I'm going to take a test drive on Saturday or Monday, no idea what to expect!

I've only sat in it, and it's just gorgeous!
I really hope it feels as good to drive as it looks!

Just thought I'd say Hi to all and thanks for a very interesting & lively forum, which I may hopefully return to as an owner of a 635!

Anyone got any words to encourage me to buy this beautiful car? :)
