It (of course) depends on your offset, but if you have the standard +13mm wheels (as I do) 235 is about as big as you can go. I have about 4mm of clearance between my strut and the edge of the tire with the occasional (but very mild) rub =)

I've been told that 245's will fit in the back, but I chose to go with 235's all around so I can rotate.

All above info assumes you don't want to roll the fenders (which I hope is true).


What are the widest tires you can put on a 635 with a 17" wheel? I was told no bigger then 235 in the front or it will rub, is that true? What is the widest you can put on the back? Thanks for any help!
