I know there are sevedral sources for Cats, but which one is the best in terms of quality. BMP, BavAuto, etc.

It is for a 1986 635csi. I replaced the cat on my 525i with the OEM and it cost me a fortune. It is excellent quality but at a premium. Are the aftermarket cats a lower grade than the OEM?
