I agree with Samir, Bill Arnold in San Rafael is KING. I've been working with him for 3 years on both my 86 635 and 90 535 and he is the best, most honest mechanic I've ever worked with.

Also worked with Bimmers BMW service in San Carlos, and Franio is awesome, but Bill is just as good and cheaper!

Who is (are) the 6er mechanical gurus in the Bay Area. Driving to Mountain View is too far. Past posts indicate that Phaedrus is a good shop- does this still hold true?
