Water pump is generally not the problem unless it is making noise. Sounds most like a blocked up radiator. Take it to a radiator shop. They will clean it out and tell you how well it is flowing. Could be blocked passages in the engine. Run some good cleaner through before you take the radiator in to the shop. Make sure the belt is not slipping.

Agree with the rad idea. My original thought was a head gasket. Check the plugs in cylinders 3-6 for white tips and the color of the engine oil. If anit-freeze is in it, the oil will look like light colored gravy.
