Have a Canadian 1987 M6 and agree with the posts below. SLS is installed, heated seats, no rear AC. OBC does not work in miles; seems to just change the format a bit. Also, the speedometer is in km/hr only, with no second scale for mph. The Canadian cars were also available with slightly diferent colour selections I think. Otherwise, drivetrain, etc. is identical to the US models.
Canada did not get the L6, just 635CSi and M6. Not sure if the US 1988 M6 got the full boat L6 interior treatment, but the Canadian cars did not.
If you were referring in your post to the red M6 for sale in Calgary, I think it has had the SLS removed, but not sure. If intersted, I could pop over and look at the car again.

I've seen a few Canadian M6's over the years (a nice one for sale was posted on this forum on 11/2) and they haven't had the load leveling suspension or the rear A/C. Were these features omitted from the Canadian version? If so, this makes them more desirable in my book; less complication, less weight, etc.!
