I am also looking at changing diffs. Don't bet your life but this is what I have learned so far. I think you will only find a 4.10 from an E30 M3. E30 diff needs drive flanges and rear cover to fit in an E28 based 6 - Supposedly an easy change! (E12 cars have a totally different diff.)

I bet you're in the US (I'm in UK) - 'cos I'd be after your old diff - I want an LSD for my CSi.

What differential is compatible with m635.I want to upgrade to 4.10 gears.I have heard that e30 M3 will fit.If anyone has any info please let me know.
