What differential is compatible with m635.I want to upgrade to 4.10 gears.I have heard that e30 M3 will fit.If anyone has any info please let me know.

The diff in your M635 is a bigger stronger unit, than what is in a 535,635, or M3. The housing and the internals are all different. It is the same basic unit used in the M5 though. The input and output flanges are the same size and the 535,635 and M3, but it think the spacing of them is different. If you can get your hand on one from a US M6, that one has a 3.91:1 ratio versus the 3.73:1 that your car should have.
