There's an article in the most recent Roundel discussing various short shifters. The author gave very high marks to the UUC shifter which was relatively inexpensive but compared very well to much more expensive products like AC Schnitzer. there web site is www.uucmotorwerks.com and there phone # is 732-398-0001. If I go that route I may try this product based on that article.

I just had a short shifter kit plus entire new clutch assy fitted, it still does not go smoothly into first every single time but it is a vast improvement on how bad it was before. Going from 2nd to first when stopped cures it.


I have this problem also, who's short shifter kit did you use? (BMP, AC Schnitzer???)
