John:

I had mine repaired using plastic welding through the body shop. Required full repainting with flexible type paint. The cost for the welding was about $CDN 135, but paint costs brought the total to about $CDN 350. Saved the dough on installation and removal.

For minor crack repair I have used a two part epoxy type stuff called JBWeld with success. Note that the curing time will be greatly increased in cold weather, or it may not cure at all.

Hope this helps.

Trying to repair a small crack in the front spoiler. None of the glues I have seem to work. I am looking for a solvent type glue because I think 'superglue' or araldite will fail pretty quickly. Just to complicate the issue I'm in the UK so US trade names may not help much. BTW tried using a soldering iron to 'weld' it from behind - not hot enough to melt it!
