directional light (archive)

I have an '84 633 and the left front directional light does not work. When the indicator stem is put in the left direction the indicator light goes twice the speed. The left back is working, fuses are good, the bulb is fine, I put a new flasher in under the steering column. I cant figure it out. If there is any advice.....thanks
