Brakes binding on (archive)

After i depress the brake pedal, the brakes bind for a few seconds and then release. 2weeks ago i thought that the pedal felt a bit spongy. I can push the pedal down quite a long way. Could it be one of my bombs AGAIN. There now seems to be too much fluid in the tank aswell. Any input would be great.
