I'ts not like the seat covering is welded on. Have it removed and fix the problem.
I have had the sport Recaros redone, they look great but both seats have broken cables. The cables attached to the lift knob allowing the seats to fall forward to access the rear passenger area. The cable itself on one is broken and missing. On the other, the metal rivet at the end of the cable has broken the little hat it has that keeps it from falling thru the hole that is machined into the little release arm near the bottom of the seat. As you may know, there is limited access. It would have been very easy to fix while they were recoving the seats but no one had their thinking caps on. Any suggestions, or experiences? TIA, Mark R.
