I have heard that E32 750il front brakes will simply "bolt right on" to my e24 M635csi. Is thais true? I would love a bigger set of brakes, as I drive like a complete moron, and need all of the stopping power I can get!

Are there any other secrets KNOWN to work for this application? 850 brakes, perhaps?

Jo

The first upgrade is to replace the rear calipers and 284x10mm rotors with the E-34, M5/540 calipers and 300x20mm rotors. I suggest that you use the M5, Jurid 547 pads in combination with the OE E-24 pads, calipers and 300x30mm rotors. The increase in brake feel and balane is unbelieveable just ask around.
Many will disagee bit I think the E-32 750 brakes are a down grade for the M6.
If you want more fronr brake the 840/850 Brembo brakes (324x30mm rotors) are a better selection for the M6.
If you want he whole deal, upgrade to the Euro '95 E-34, M5 brakes 345x32mm front and 328x20mm rear rotors. However, the E-34 M5/540 rear brakes are the best bang for the bucks upgrade.
