My 85 m635 runs right at midway. Winter its a little lower, summer the fan keeps it right at the middle. I live in Georgia which may have some affect on it. get a true temp reading with a thermometer.
Hello all,
Had a problem with my temp gauge reading when I purchased my 86 M635. It always read in the blue, so I changed the thermostat. It now only reads about an 1/8 of an inch beyond the blue. I get plenty of hot air from the heater, and the engine appears to be heating up properly. (Havent stuck a thermometer in it yet) All of my other Bimmers (E30, E21, E24) and most other vehicles have always run about the midway point. Maybe I have a bad sending unit? So where does everybody elses M635/M6 temp gauge read at normal operating temp?
