It is time for me to replace the pads and rotors on my 89 635csi. My rotors are warped, and I was thinking about replacing them with crossed drilled rotors to decrease braking distance. Is it worth the extra cost? Any experience with Zimmerman rotors?
Thanks

I fully agree with Rob on this issue. Most drilled rotors will crack from stress, sooner or later. Go with the best rotors and pads you can afford and I
know you will put yourself thru the window. Most applications will never see temp's high enough to cause any problems, with exception of extremely hard track racing. Most normal driving will only see intermittent elevated brake system temp's, not enough to harm good components.
Good Luck,

Nathan
