I have to check that out again... I wouldn't be too worried... I used to do production work in movieland, and Hollywood is pretty anal about saving money at times...especially when it's just for the purpose of destroying a car by a baseball bat. They usually find some car that is already damaged on one side, and figure out a way to dress it up enough so it looks good on camera, then shoot it at an angle that doesn't show the damage. Do a Maaco $200 paint job to a $1000, spray the windows to look tinted so you won't see the empty interior, and "Action!"! Instant movie car.

Just look at the Dukes of Hazzard...they weren't jumping concours '69 Chargers all day...it was even mentioned that sometimes they would have to wait to do a scene until they could get the car running after it stalled...since they were just scrounging together all these '68-'70 chargers, and trying to make them look the same, at times not even being able to get one with a black interior and correct taillights, which you can see ocassionally on the show..

Only in Hollywood...
Pete

Unfortunately, this hysterically funny movie features a girl who thinks her boyfriend cheated on her and takes out her frustration with a baseball bat on a mint 633/635 US version. She beats the hell out of it. Why couldn't they use a Benz or Lexus? Well, at least a shark made an appearance in another movie.....
