Bad gas happens.
It was years ago, however, my 81 reacted badly to a bad batch from BP. Anyone know if they're partnered or merged with AMOCO?
I've been only a Chevron or Unocal76 patron since.
There is so much craziness in the gas we have here in CA, it's insane that we pay so much for the watered down chemically altered stuff.
Another tip: don't tank up while the fuel truck is unloading at the station...it stirs up the crap at the bottom of the holding tanks.

When it rains it pours. I've been driving my 6 maybe 2 days a week for the past few months
and it seems that lately since the bitter cold began when I start it up something new develops.
About a mile after filling up with Amoco 93 last night, the engine started sounding like it was missing on some cylinders.
Revs fine in neutral but has about 50% power otherwise.
Bentley says bad gas could be the cause - yeah right!

What's the first thing to do, check the plugs?
