I had the same problem with the clunks. Its your shock mounts - when they go, this is how they react. Replacement cured the noises. Regarding the ride height changes, are you sure its different? Measure the height to the top center of the rear wheel well opening to check. If it is really changing (and it shouldn't, since that's the purpose behind SLS), then you may have a bad controller unit. That's expensive. Do you hear the SLS pump cycling when you noticed the changes in height? That might also provide a clue. HTH
88 m6 w/48k mi, replaced accumulators(car was either sitting to hi or to low and rode rough ). seams to be better can set a normal ride height now, but when hit quick sharp littie bumps get a clunking sound in rear on right side mostly, cant seam to make it happen w/two people bouncing on the rear though.
has correct amount of fluid, pump works w/sit on rear of trunk, if disconnect sensor and move it a little car will go up or down like it is supose to(cool).

also when look @ car(walking away frome it admiring those great lines) from time to time it looks like @ diff height.

want to know if these things are normal w/this setup or if i need more work and what to do.

thank
ken
