I think its shameful that people would be so pathetic to put //M badges and pull off an Alpina hoax on the public, but especially when you try to fool knowledgeable BMW experts like we are here.I saw a REALone in a magazine once, and it only had Alpina badges everywhere.

I received a few emails from folks asking to see pictures of the e24 B9 Alpina I mentioned recently.

Look, if you want to badge up a plain Jane Euro 6, that is your business, but I happen to know that that car could not possibly be an Alpina because the rear shot shows a BMW roundel on the trunk!

From the picts, this car look like an authentic Alpina. It has all the tell tale signs.... wheels/spoiler/steering wheel and especially the plaque on the dash which is very hard to fake (ever try to even BUY one from Alpina?? They won't sell you one unless you have the chassis,engine and Alpina plate serial number(s) of an authentic car!)
A B9 Alpina has the BMW Roundels prominately displayed on the hood & trunk as per a normal 6 series. They are NOT replaced by an Alpina badge.
This is a very nice looking B9.
