DO YOU NEED TO PRE-SOAK SEALS (archive)

I'am about to install new tranny seals and rear main seal. I'am also changing to Redline synthetic tranny fluid, I presently use Mobil 1 in the engine. Should I soak the seals in their synthetic fluids before installation? THANKS for any feedback. Jim.
