Have used a 17 mm bolt, very tightly held by a vise grip, then hammer the vise grip handle. Use propane torch to gently heat it a little bit if required (Carefully check fuel lines...).
Dan

Remove filler cap?? No tool kit in car and tried 17mm bolt head but that thing is really torxed in. Would appreciate any help am going to tried and get it filled today!

TIA

Common problem .. thats why you take the filler cap off first. I did the same thing and had to buy a hex socket from sears and use a long break open bar to get it free.
