I attempted to post a note politely answering Don's points regarding the genuiness of the car, but I don't know if it's too long or what, but I keep getting "Possible Script Problem" message.

Among other things I tried to point out that I have documentation from Alpina that my cars WERE built in their facility, along with the build specifications.

The e24 pictured DOES have an Alpina plaque, Alpina embossed instrument cluster, Alpina stamped springs, and an Alpina serial # on the engine (as well as the other Alpina stuff).

I am sorry that some people do not understand that Alpinas DO carry BMW as well as Alpina badging.

BTW, the correct front spoiler is the original cheesy fiberglass one, and is being repaired due to curb damage.

In no way did I try to start a controversy; I just wanted to share a photo among friends.
