While I've seen as wide as 45 series tires on the e24, I think that 50 series for 16" is a good compromise unless you upgrade the entire suspension.

The camber vs. body roll geometry doesn't justify wider rubber in my opinion, though it obviously looks neat.

Is anyone running 40 series tires? I have started autocrossing my 633/Dinan turbo. The stock 70series 14" just can't stand up to the torque and cornering loads. I have found a set of 225-40ZR16 Toyo take offs(the guy's Neon could barely turn them, imagine that). Any help appreciated.
