Do you mean the hydraulic headlight angle adjusting system - the rotary control low on the driver's kick panel. If so I'm afraid that these rarely work and can only be replaced as a complete unit. Control unit two long pipes and two actuators on the headlight mounts. 99% of us live without this not very useful feature.

I recently purchased a 1989 635 and have a couple of things to fix on my new toy. I have the Euro model RHD (Australian delivered) and need to repair the headlight dipping mechanism. Has anyone repaired these before and can they offer some advice. Many thanks in advance.
