Are you sure that is not the line to the cold start valve... which is a hose and does need to be replaced periodically?

Another stupid question on my project 635. The PO replaced one of the fuel lines with standard hose and the pressure is cracking it ( and I thought I have done some pretty poor quick fix it's!). Problem is it is the line from the rear fuel rail through a hole in the intake manifold connecting right below it. Anything I can remove to get to it or any suggestions that would make this job easier - I am having a hell of a time reaching it to get to the lower connection?
