Kevin,

VDO North America is HQ'd in Winchester VA. Their address is on their web page. I just sent my speedo to them and they did a complete check and replaced the odometer gear. All for about $80.

I just boxed it up and sent it to their "OEM Repair" shop. Send it by some trackable means (UPS) and then follow up with a call to see where it is in their repair shop.

Has anyone figured out a replacment gear for the speedometer(odometer) that is not grosly overpriced. I've heard of people making these replacement gears out of metal washers. Or is there a place you can buy these "inexpensively"?

Thanks,
Kevin
