it can accumulate. Lots of folks swear by "Lubro Moly" product called "Ventil Sauber" intake vale cleaner. Avail from BMP or Bavarian.

How sensible the 3.5 l engine is to carbon deposit over the intake valves? Anybody actually look at a say 100k miles head?

Few years ago, I was shocked by how much have accumulated in my VW valves.
How effective are chemicals in removing these?
