Will 533 engine fit a 633? (archive)

First thanks for all the wonderful help members of this board has given me before. I have another question. Will a 1983 533i engine fit into a 1983 633csi? The 533i engine is connected to a five speed, but the 633csi has an automatic transmission. I would like to keep the automatic. Will I have to do anything to fit the 533 that had a manual into the 633 with an automatic? Also, are the eletronics the same? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
