This is a topic that has come up numerous times in the past and has tons of responses. Try looking in the archives, should be able to find a lot from last spring.

First, what year car are you speaking of?...

To summerize what the overall feeling was then and in the BCG Archives as well. The Motronic M30 mengine system was specifically designed to use the Silvers (Silbres) and most agreed these corrected teh idle problems best, although any new sparkplug will make a noticable difference and thats where a lot of the confusion comes from.

Like I said, others esp. the BCG members noted the Silbres worked the best, however...

the older L-Jectronic systems used standaed copper plugs and I have found upgrading to the Platniums made a difference over the course of months since they keep their new plug edge for a lot longer than the coppers.

Check the archives for this topic since there was tons of first hand accounts and opinions posted in several threads, better than waiting for replies here. good luck, why pay $7.00 a plug if you don't have to!
