Just wondering what experiences anyone here has had with buying cars/accessories from Ebay auctions. Anyone here bought a 6er or other BMW from ebay? Generally decent or disappointed? I'm sure there's good and bad sellers everywhere, I just wonder sometimes if the anonymous nature of the internet lends discredit to Ebay and 6ers sold there.

I recently purchased a "flawless,running better than new collector owned 85 csi"from ST LOUIS. What I got was a great looking 6 but underneath was a junk!! Lots of major problems,been in major wreck,won'tpass smog w/out major work etc etc,& 100000mi rollback!!BE CAREFUL! Ebay is of no help in these situations!spend the xtra money & have it checked out by a BMW dealer before purchase. DON'T TAKE THE SELLER'S WORD! THEIR ALL USED CAR SALES POEPLE! happy hunting.
