I've this exact set up on my '88 M6. Aside from the hub centric adapters I bought from Tirerack, I used no other spacers of any kind. Used 235/45 17 tires (Bridgestone potenza) and never had any problems, but tire balance was tricky according to the guy who mounted them for me. I've had no trouble what so ever. Good luck!

I've purchased a set of these wheels on ebay after researching the fitment issues here. I am wondering if anyone out there can comment on the spacer needed in addition to the hub-ring adapter. I'm not worried about the back but the front tires are real close to the strut. I'm guessing the spacer shouldn't be any thicker than 3mm to 5mm.

I have the wheels fitted with 235/45/17 kumho's and the offset on the wheel is 20mm.

I'm hoping that anyone with these wheels might comment on the spacer they used at the front. How you like 'em? Any vibration issues?

Thanks,
