Hi,
The Euro M635 DME does not use the O2 sensor. Would you mind telling me what settings you used on the Split Second unit and telling me of the installation - any problems etc. I will be installing one of these kits on my '85 M635 and any hints would be appreciated.

Thanks

Ray

My 85euro m635 has undergone conversion to larger hotwire airflow meter and and Split Second air/fuel ratio monitor, and fuel fine tuning box. The transition coming off idle is much smoother and max power appears to be up. Hopefully this will reduce ocasonial pinging when gassing it uphill in summer. I am supprised to see the gas/air ratio change from 13:1 to 16:1 so quickly and not really reside at 14.7 (stochiometric)for any length of time, I do see hunting caused by the Lambda trying to tune the mixture. I need to know what the normal range is. And should I remove the Lambda? Does the stock 1.0 DME do the constant up and down searching . I want to try and reduce the swings rich to lean and back.
Thanks for the input.
Phil
