Driving the car takes a bit to get used to, mostly because I am a small car sort. Well, I used to be a small car sort! The 6 accelerates well, holds speed well, and corners well. After driving *MANY* cars, the 6 is still my favriot car.

Experiance wise, well... I am a punk college student and I like to drag...

What can I say, I think its in all of us =)

I have noticed that I am not usually quick off the line, yet around 40mph the 6 really takes off. One of the best races I had was with a really good friend of mine. He drives a brand new Mustang (with the V6 =( ) We took off from dead stop and it was pratically even. At about fifty I started to take him... I could here his engine SCREAMING for more...

I won, by three or four car lengths... =)


Anyways, the car is a joy to drive! I don't think I can go back to domestics! (cars at least)


Goodmorning and greetings from Cape Cod, Massachusetts...where its 15 degrees outside at my house on the outer Cape. So...it's brain tickler time again...last time I stumped you guys so...after thinking about a creative way to have everyone win this answer...since there is no right wrong answer for this question...how about this?...Most of the postings on the forum relate with buying, selling, tech talk, finding parts, putting together a meet somewhere, etc. My question is as follows.....share why you like driving a 6er...what turns you on about driving the car, ie., handling characteristics, styling,
attraction and attention from others, etc. We don't talk about our positive driving experiences....so here's your chance! Can't wait to see the responses from around the world. And remember you US drivers...if someone from Germany posts a message saying that they like driving at a high rate of speed on the autobahn in Germany (where it is allowed and you aren't speeding...or breaking the law...but has the ability to take advantage of the operational characteristics of the 6er in a safe manner...lets not knock them...if you've never done it....i hope one day you have the opportunity.
