The closer the bolts are in relationship to one another on the opposing side will make the overall length of the bar shorter and hence stiffer. On mine - I am generally "stiffer" in the front, and "looser" in the rear. We are talking about my suspension! It takes a lot of track time to "work out" the car. It really depends on the other qualities of your suspension and how it is designed. If you have a nice 180 or 270 degree on ramp near by, I suggest you find the apex(s) and get to know that onramp's "line." Then go out and start testing - at your own risk! If you do, do it once before your "hard" runs begin to make sure the onramp surface is safe. You'll need to do it a few times in a row to get a good feel for what your suspension is doing. Then adjust, and go right back out there to compare. Best thing to do is sign up to a BMW CCA or equivalent high performance driver's school and make your adjustments there.....have fun,

Mark Robbins
