I am lucky enough to be able to drive mine year round, but unlucky to be in a high humidity climate with bad roads. I live in Nassau Bahamas and if I drive more than 20 miles in any one direction I've been underwater for the last 1/2 mile!
I have only ever liked the 6 series and one just happened to drop into my lap so I bought it. It has ignited an enthusiasm for cars I did not know I had (its been all boats up to now). The process of restoring and upgrading has been incredibly rewarding though at times expensive and frustrating but always worth it.
One day the car will find itself back on real roads more than 20 miles long and I will enjoy it even more.
If anyone reading this is ever coming to Nassau please feel free to contact me.Hey Alan! Thanks for your story...I live on the Cape...similar situation with not being able to "drive the car" here....have to go off cape...and I do that very infrequently! If you are on the Cape...please give me a call! we can get together, talk bimmers! Regards, Paul
