I'm in Rochester, NY (about 60 miles E of Buffalo).I bought the car new in the fall of '89, and it is still in original showroom condition (no mods). Since the winters (and the salt) can be tough in Rochester, the car went into winter storage shortly after I bought it. I drove it the '90 and '91 seasons (roughly Apr-Nov around here). In the spring of '92, I got sent to Europe on assignment for 6 months, so I put the car into storage (on blocks, covered). All the prep work for storage was done by the dealer from whom I bought the car. Six months turned into almost 6 years, so I got the car back out of storage again in the spring of '98, and have driven it the'98 , '99 and '00 seasons. Thus, the car has actually been driven less than 5 of its 11 years (hence the very low mileage, and great condition).
The car is a 5-speed (VIN: WBAEC741XK0608696).
