In europe cars have to undergo a TUV inspection...this is like our safety inspection but unbelievably thorough...things like rust spots are repaired ....fix the rust...keep the car! A good reputable body shop should be able to make it look like new....do a thorough inspection fo the under carriage of your vehicle. Either sandblast or sand off all rusted areas and then treat with Boiled Linseed Oil...it dries hard in about 48 hours. You can apply to the entire unside of the car...it will stop all rust as it cuts off the air rust needs to keep growing! Email me if you have questions. Good luck! The Rustmeister....Paul
