Hi,

I just did a Cyinder Head R&R, and now there is a strong "hot rubber" or "burning rubber" smell under the hood. It seems to be coming from the Exhaust Manifold side. The engine is running fine, has no leaks, nothing is touching the exhaust manifolds, all belts are snug, etc...

Could it be the new exhaust manifold gaskets getting "broken in?, some other gasket related "burn-in" smell? I need some advise...

my car also did this but when I replaced the brake booster it stoped so you way want to check that, hope this helps
