The 750 part is inferior to the aftermarket bushing. Months/years of stopping and starting with those heavy rims have caused the bushings to fail, and possibly the rotors. Don't buy a set of rotors you don't need quite yet. What condition is the rest of the control arm in? How about the ball joints? The control arm bushing is usually the worst of the bunch, as it was on ALL 3 of my e24s. Inspect the spots where the arms mount, too. All that hard wobbling can knock alot more than you'd expect loose! As Mr. Resh below stated, you will eventually end-up w/ a failure of the steering box, too, if you continuse to run those heavy rims. (NOT to put words in Ed's mouth, he only mentioned that the box could be a factor in the wobble.)It took bushings and light rims on my M6 to correct the awful wobble. Just for sh*ts and giggles, I actually put my 25+ lb. Hamann Monoblocks back on this wkd., and took her for a spin. While the wobble is far less pronounced with the BMP bushing, it is STILL there. LURKING, twisting, turning, tugging at your $100/pr bushings.
Ask my buddy Brent. He's ridden with me in EVERY BMW I've owned, and EVERY one had severe suspension wear/wobble as a result of EVERY set of heavy wheels I used.
On my 735i, I was lucky, and merely swapping my stock rims back correctd the problem. My L6, I was stubborn, and went through 2 suspensions to keep my custom look.
On my M6, I won't risk the heavy wheels against $1200 worth of custom ride. The Hamanns may make the car look cooler (and only marginally, subjectively speaking), but I like the way my Bimmer handles FAR more with the BBS rims.
