I used 3M plastic cleaner first , then their
plastic polish. It made the lenses like new again.
The lights seem brighter now also.


I had seen a tip that you can make your taillights, brakelights, etc., brighter on older cars if you remove the lenses and clean out any dust and grime from the reflectors.

I didn't find much of that, but I did notice that the reflective surfaces inside the lenses have turned black. Is there a way to clean this, or reverse the oxidation? Thanks



Repaint them with reflective silver paint.
