I think the "thingo" is a fuel pressure regulator but I am not certain of that. They are available through most catalogs (BMPD or Bav Auto for example). Hope this helps a little. Can anyone add to this?

Please help me with a 84 633csi problem.

The fuel line closest to the firewall hooks into a round "thingo" (I don't know what the thingo is!) that developed a nasty drip earlier today. I noticed that there is an identical "thingo" on the second fuel line that runs to the front of the engine.

The "thingo" is about 3/4 of an inch thick, so it's not a filter, I'm guessing it's some sort of one way valve or something.

Can someone more experienced in fuel system diagnostics (that must be everyone else here) tell me what the "thingo" is, where I can get one, and how much it should cost?

Thanks!!
